Sunco Engineering Services Company Limited which is situated on a beautiful expanse of land, just off the old Siparia Road is major player in the civil engineering construction field. The company is owned and managed by Mr. Cobee Singh who is also the company’s managing director. Mr. Singh has a wealth of experience in civil engineering construction and related industries.

Sunco had a full complement of supervisory and technical support staff who are experienced in the various construction trades of civil and building works as well as experienced surveyors, equipment operators and maintenance personnel. The company also owns and operates a BE-65 Barber Green Asphalt Plant which has a capacity of 200 tons per hour. This asphalt plant has given Sunco the competitive edge, whereby major asphalt paving works can be undertaken at the most effective prices.

Sunco works closely with the Consulting Engineers Associates Limited (CEAL) a consulting engineering firm who has been providing Sunco with engineering expertise for the past ten (10) years. CEAL provides technical support on all Sunco’s Engineering works including the preparation of Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, Reinforced Steel Placement, Scheduling and Alternative Design Proposals. The principle engineer Mr. Vaughn Lezama (R.Eng) of CEAL is responsible for providing these services and acts in the capacity of the Construction Manager for the execution of projects.

Continuous review and updating of safety procedures.
Comprehensive safety training for supervisors, foremen and employees.
Requirements for ‘tool box’ meetings with laborers and management.
Provison of proper ‘first aid’ facilities and competent medical care.
Establishment of general safety and fire prevention / protection plans.
Close coordination with insurance carriers on claims investigations.
Inspection and monitoring of trends or problems.
Controls procedures regarding health hazards and toxic materials.
Compliance with government rules and regulations.
Environmental protection measures to prevent or mitigate the impact of any site operation including contaminations spillage or disposal of waste that may adversely affect the environment.
